I need feminism because I am tired of others and myself fearing for my safety after dark. I am tired of trying to hide my body and appearance because it seems to be the first thing anyone ever compliments me on. Not my brain, or my heart, or my kindness. 

I am tired of both men and women picking apart and critiquing every detail of everyone’s appearance. How we look does not define who we actually ARE.
